Southeast Asia's high-end cashew industry earns hundreds of millions of dong in profits Farmers in Bu Gia Map district (Binh Phuoc province) harvest cashews for the 2025 crop. The highest cashew purchasing price in recent years has brought good news to farmers in the Southeast provinces. This is the motivation for them to continue to stick with cashew trees, while looking for solutions to improve productivity and product quality. According to statistics, the entire Southeast region currently has more than 192,000 hectares of cashew, accounting for 61% of the country's cashew area. Commenting on the effectiveness of cashew trees in the current period, the leader of the Farmers' Association of Binh Phuoc province said that cashew trees are a tree that helps eliminate hunger and reduce poverty with many competitive advantages compared to other crops such as: low investment capital, suitable for arid lands, especially requiring almost no care... In the past 2-3 years, cashew nuts have been expensive, so some local farmers have destroyed old pepper gardens and returned to growing cashew trees. They grow grafted cashew varieties with very high yields, some gardens reaching 5-6 tons/hectare, bringing in good profits for farmers to stick with for a long time.
