<p> The transformation of the cashew nut was at the center of a seminar initiated Friday May 3, 2024 in Bondoukou (North-East, Gontougo region) as part of the celebration of Freedom Day of the Movement of Capable Generations (MGC) of Simone Ehivet Gbagbo.</p> <p>This seminar focused on the theme “ Dynamization of the agricultural economy and freedoms” and was an opportunity for the national technical secretary in charge of entrepreneurship, the management of cooperatives and the informal sector, Patricia Meva, speaker, to highlight the emphasis on the opportunities presented by the cashew nut, a flagship product of the Gontougo region. </p> <p> » It was a question of presenting small processing methods that could create added value in the sector. It is a question of insisting on the valorization of the cashew apple which is generally thrown into the fields,” she underlined.</p> <p>According to her, with the simple equipment used in the villages to make Attieké, the populations can produce cashew apple juice, asking participants from several localities in the Gontougo region to stay in the cashew sector and especially to consume products derived from cashew nuts.</p> <p>Present in Bondoukou since May 2, 2024, the president of the MGC, Simone Ehivet Gbagbo and her team commemorate the freedom celebration marking the return to the multiparty system on April 30, 1990.</p>
