Similarly, in the first 4 months of 2023, the export of cashew nuts W240, W180 increased by 5.4% and 57.4% respectively in volume, in terms of turnover increased by 5.2% and 48.4% compared to that of the same period last year, reaching 24.15 thousand tons and 9.28 thousand tons, worth $164.35 million and $70.86 million. In contrast, Vietnam reduced exports of some types of cashew nuts in the first 4 months of this year, including: cashew WS/WB, SP, W210, DW. In general, exports of the above categories are low. According to information from the Vietnam Cashew Association (Vinacas) and experts, Vietnam's cashew exports in 2022 will reach 519,782 tons, worth 3.08 billion USD, down 10.3% in volume, down 15 1% in value compared to 2021.
