According to Vinacas, in the first 2 months of 2023, more than 10,158 tons of cashew kernels were imported and in 2022, 78,583 tons were imported into Vietnam. This comes from Vietnam's policy of tax-free import of cashews of all kinds while African countries are exempt from export tax on kernels but tax exports of raw cashews.
