  • Côte d'Ivoire: Africa Global Logistics "renews" its commitment to the development of the cashew sector 04/10/20232

    Committed alongside the actors of the value chain of the cashew nut sector in Côte d'Ivoire, Africa Global Logistics participated from April 06 to 08, 2023, at the Palais de la culture de Treichville, in Abidjan, in the 4th edition of the International Fair Cashew Processing Equipment and Technologies (SIETTA 2023), in the presence of the Minister of State, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Côte d'Ivoire, Mr. Kobenan Kouassi Adjoumani. Recognized for its quality management system, the company provides its cashew nut producer and exporter customers with multimodal logistics solutions in Côte d'Ivoire and in the hinterland countries, through transport, warehousing, processing and exporting cashew nuts to Asian and European ports. This business meeting bringing together producers, processors, exporters and government, around the theme: "Contribution of the cashew industry to the resilience of African countries in the face of global economic challenges", was an opportunity for Africa Global Logistics, operator leader in integrated logistics, to present its service offers for the sector, in particular its 400,000 m² of warehouses, its transport and handling equipment (road tractors, challengers, forks, etc.), as well as the expertise of its operational teams . “Thanks to our investments and the know-how of our operational teams, we now have modern and secure infrastructures to ensure the logistics chain linked to the export of cashew nuts. At the same time, we contribute to supporting companies in the local processing of cashew nuts,” said Joël HOUNSINOU, Managing Director of Africa Global Logistics Côte d'Ivoire. With a 40% market share, Africa Global Logistics is today the 1st logistician in the cashew sector in Côte d'Ivoire, where the sector represents, with a production of more than 1,000,000 tons, the 3rd source of currencies of the agricultural sector, behind cocoa and natural rubber.
