In Côte d'Ivoire, the agro-industrial sector attracted about 450 billion CFA francs of investments over the first 10 months of 2022. The announcement was made by Solange Amichia, Director General of the Center for the Promotion of Investments in Ivory Coast (Cepici). The envelope represents 63% of the total investments approved over the said period. This domination of the agro-industry testifies to the confidence of foreign and national actors in a sector which is one of the most dynamic in the West African sub-region with the strong diversification of agriculture and the growth of the production of several crops such as cocoa, rubber and cashew.
