In Côte d'Ivoire, the government adopted on October 26, in the Council of Ministers, a decree recognizing the Interprofessional Agricultural Organization of the cashew sector. With this official approach, the group will notably be able to defend the interests of all industry stakeholders (producers, processors and traders) with the Cotton-Cashew Council (CCA). In the country which has been the world's leading cashew nut producer since 2015, the authorities anticipate a harvest of 1 million tonnes of the raw material in 2022 .
