"The Africa Ceo Forum is an opportunity for the promotion of Ivorian products and particularly those of the cotton-cashew sector", Adama Coulibaly said on Tuesday, June 14. Continuing, the DG indicated that he exchanged with investors to shell in a concrete way the Ivorian opportunities. “Côte d'Ivoire is a land of opportunities, particularly in the cotton and cashew sectors. We have educated investors on government policy on accelerating the processing of cashew and cotton products,†he noted. He said that through panels, he exchanged with Italian investors. Concerning cotton, Adama Coulibaly underlined that today, the capacity of trituration of the seed makes it possible to absorb the totality of the seed produced in Côte d'Ivoire. As a result, he said, the Cotton-Cashew Council has since this campaign banned the export of cottonseed. “During the 2021-2022 campaign, not a single kilogram of seed was exported abroad. Everything has been transformed by crushers,†he added. In addition, the general manager congratulated the organizers who succeeded in organizing such a heavy but perfect event. “This should inspire us in holding our future meetings,†he concluded.
