Bouaké, The results of research work on the conditions of production of quality cashew nuts in Côte d'Ivoire was at the center of a restitution workshop organized on Tuesday May 24, 2022 at the Ran Hotel in Bouaké at the initiative of the center of research in toxicology and applied hygiene (CERTOX). According to the executive president of this association for drug addiction research, Pr Kouassi James Halbin, this workshop consisted in presenting these results to the participants composed mainly of cashew nut producers from the Gbêkê and Hambol regions to refine and record them together. in a guide of good practices that will be made available to them to help them produce good quality cashew nuts. The facilitators of this restitution session focused their interventions on the results of research work relating to the quality of cashew nuts, occupational health and safety in cashew cultivation, environmental protection in cashew culture and certification process for cashew nuts in Côte d'Ivoire. Professor Kouassi James Halbin indicated that the localities of Mankono and Bondoukou will host the next restitution workshops. He also announced a major national tour at the end of this series of workshops to present the resulting good practice guide to members of cashew cooperative societies, train them on the content of this guide in order to get them to produce better quality cashews.
