Joël HOUNSINOU, Managing Director of Bolloré Transport & Logistics Côte d'Ivoire indicates that this investment is part of the structuring projects in which the group has been engaged for several years to modernize logistics infrastructure in Côte d'Ivoire. "Two years after the inauguration of the Aerohub, we are preparing to commission a modern infrastructure allowing us to meet the growing needs of our customers and strengthen our role as a hub regional logistics. “said Mr. HOUNSINOU. Designed to strengthen its service offer related to the import and export of goods by air, this new infrastructure will have required 18 months of work and an investment of 3.4 billion CFA francs. Connected to the International Airport and the city of Abidjan, this logistics hub will include an operating area of ​​7,500 m² and 1,500 m² of offices. It will also house a 3,500 m² warehouse equipped with modern equipment such as a weighbridge, a dock leveler, a pallet pit and a cold room. Within this new platform, arrangements will also be made to facilitate the packaging of pharmaceutical products and offer value-added storage for all types of freight, in particular perishable foodstuffs intended for the Ivorian market or European countries. These services will be provided by the teams in charge of conventional freight and express transport installed near the operating sites.
