A delegation of directors of the World Bank Group will stay, from March 3 to 5, 2022, in Yamoussoukro, with a view to soaking up the achievements of the project to promote the competitiveness of the cashew value chain (PPCA), announces an information note received by the AIP. The delegation of directors will be accompanied by a top management team from the World Bank office in Abidjan. The project to promote the competitiveness of the cashew value chain (PPCA) is the result of cooperation between the World Bank and the State of Côte d'Ivoire. It aims to increase the productivity, quality and added value of cashew for the benefit of smallholder farmers and the cashew processing industry in Côte d'Ivoire. This project has been implemented by the Cotton and Cashew Council (CCA) for three years. The Vice-President of the World Bank for the West and Central Africa region, Ousmane Diagana, led a mission on Sunday July 10 and Monday July 11, 2021, to Korhogo and Sinématiali, as part of the monitoring of projects in which the World Bank is committed, we recall.
