No big variations in the Indian cashew kernel but the interstate raw cashew trade is facing some problems in Kerala. In order to help the farmers, the government officials are trying to fix a minimum billing price and their minimum price is said to be ` 80/kilo. Traders are ready to give Taxes at ` 80/kilo but they are not ready for this minimum billing price. According to some officials, if the billing price is around ` 70/kilo and the traders offer Taxes on ` 80/kilo, this is nothing but a donation to the government. If and only if the selling price is above ` 80/kilo, they can permit raw cashew movement through their check-posts.
