<p>The General Administration of Customs of China has issued a notice on the management and registration of enterprises producing, processing, preserving and trading food for export to China (Order 248) and Note No. 353/2021 of the Department of Security. Import and export food safety regulations of the General Administration of Customs of China on guiding the implementation of foreign business registration.<br /> <br /> SPS Vietnam Office suggested agencies and businesses to study and implement to meet the regulations on enterprise registration to export to the Chinese market.<br /> <br /> Specifically, the People's Committees of the provinces and centrally-run cities directed to urgently implement the registration of enterprises producing and exporting food to the Chinese market; send the registration dossier to the competent agency for state management of food safety specified in Decree No. 15/2018/ND-CP dated February 2, 2018 of the Government before October 26, 2021.<br /> <br /> Products under the management competence of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development: Plant Protection Department for products of plant origin; Department of Animal Health for products of terrestrial animal origin; The Department of Agro-Forestry-Fisheries Quality Control for aquatic products is the agency responsible for guiding, receiving and inspecting enterprises (registration dossiers), certifying that enterprises meet registration requirements. If signed, then carry out the registration procedure with the General Administration of Customs of China according to the above provisions before October 30, 2021.<br /> <br /> Enterprises actively coordinate with local management agencies to complete registration dossiers, ensuring on time as prescribed; coordinate with importers and agents in China to obtain information on labeling and packaging in accordance with market regulations.</p> <p>Order 248 takes effect from January 1, 2022.</p>
