The value of Binh Phuoc cashew nuts has increased rapidly thanks to the orientation of mobilizing all resources as well as the efforts of the departments to expand the acreage, especially the deep processing of cashew products.</p> <p>As for the industry and trade, the Department of Industry and Trade has developed and implemented the national industrial promotion project "Support rural industrial establishments in Binh Phuoc province to develop cashew processing in the period of 2018-2020". After 3 years of implementation, the province has supported 40 rural industrial establishments in applying advanced and modern machines and equipment into production; supported 2 rural industrial establishments in building demonstration models of cashew production techniques with new technologies; organize workshops to improve productivity and product quality in cashew processing for 100 rural industrial establishments ...</p> <p>Judging from the Department of Industry and Trade, the projects always follow the actual needs of the beneficiary, thereby achieving good results, helping beneficiaries increase production and business efficiency. Worth mentioning, after being supported, businesses and production facilities have been more bold in investing in the application of modern equipment, increasing funding for power training; actively participate in trade promotion activities, thereby expanding consumption markets. The effectiveness of the project was also recognized by the beneficiaries and enterprises when the reciprocal capital was actually deployed 1.3 times higher than the estimate (from 25,232 billion VND to 33,955 billion VND).</p> <p>The success of the pilot project has drawn many experiences from the Department of Industry and Trade. Officials in the field of industrial promotion have a quick vision and judgment on the fluctuation of the market and the development trend of science - technology to guide rural industrial establishments, bringing high efficiency to the project ...</p> <p>From the achieved positive results, the Department of Industry and Trade is building a project "Supporting rural industrial establishments in Binh Phuoc province to invest in cashew processing development in the period of 2021-2023", in order to continue to support the cashew processing facilities and towards the sustainable development of the cashew industry.</p> <p>It is expected that in the next period, the province will build 3 demonstration models of new technologies and new products dissemination techniques; supported 30 rural cashew processing industry establishments for export to apply modern and advanced machines and equipment in production; investment support for 6 showrooms to introduce and promote products for 6 typical cashew processing industry establishments ... With specific objectives, the Department of Industry and Trade will mobilize all sources of capital to jointly implement the project, contribute strength and other industries bring higher added value, as well as sustainable development for local cashew trees.</p>
