  • Kishmish declines on sluggish demand

    <p>In restricted activity, kishmish prices declined by ` 100 per 40 kg here on Saturday, owing to sluggish demand from retailers and stockists amid adequate stocks. Increased arrivals from producing belts also put pressure on kishmish prices. Kishmish Indian Yellow and green fell by ` 100 each to conclude at ` 3,300-4,100 and ` 3,400-7,000 per 40 kg, respectively.</p> <p>Traders said sluggish demand from retailers and stockists against increased arrivals, mainly led to a fall in kishmish prices on the wholesale dry fruit market here.</p> <p>The following are today&rsquo;s quotations (per 40 kg): Almond (California) ` 13,000 Almond (Gurbandi-new) ` 7,200-7,600; Almond (Girdhi) ` 3,200-3,400; Abjosh Afghani ` 8,000-20,000. Almond Kernel (California-new) ` 440-475 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) ` 350-450 per kg.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
