<p>Cashew prices rose by ` 5 per kg in the national capital today largely on the back of fresh buying by retailers and stockists. Tight supplies from growing regions also supported the upside in prices.</p> <p>Cashew kernel No 180, No 210, No 240 and No 320 rose by ` 5 each to conclude at ` 690-750, ` 670-690 ` 590-610 and ` 510-560 per kg, respectively.</p> <p>Marketmen said increased buying by retailers and stockists against tight supplies from growing regions, mainly helped cashew prices to rise.</p> <p>The following are today's quotations (per 40 kg): Almond (California) ` 14,400 Almond ( Gurbandi-new) ` 7,200-7,700; Almond (Girdhi) ` 3,200-3,500; Abjosh Afghani ` 8,000-20,000.</p> <p>Almond Kernel (California-new) ` 490-530 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) ` 350-450 per kg.</p> <p> </p>
