<p>Cashew prices rose by ` 5 per kg in the national capital today largely on the back of fresh buying by retailers and stockists amid low stocks. Tight supplies from growing regions also supported the upside in prices.</p> <p>Cashew kernel No 180, No 210, No 240 and No 320 rose by ` 5 each to conclude at at ` 705-765, ` 685-705 ` 605-625 and ` 525-575 per kg, respectively.</p> <p>Marketmen said increased buying by retailers and stockists against tight supplies from growing regions, mainly pushed up cashew prices.</p> <p>The following are today's quotations (per 40 kg): Almond (California) ` 14,900 Almond (Gurbandi-new) ` 7,300-8,000; Almond (Girdhi) ` 3,500-4,200; Abjosh Afghani ` 8,000-20,000.</p> <p>Almond Kernel (California-new) ` 500-550 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) ` 400-450 per kg.</p> <p> </p>
