  • Ivory Coast: 2014 raw cashew nut exports from Ivory Coast to China increased

    <p><strong>Ivorian sellers are delivered shipments of Raw cashew nuts last year (in late November and early December 12/2014). Due to the high price of RCN, very low Ivorian inventories this year. Notably, this year, the amount of Ivory Coast RCN exports through the Chinese market rose sharply, about 30,000 tonnes. However, there is difficulties in payment issues due to the Chinese side for direct payment in cash (CFA) instead of the method of payment through banks.</strong></p> <p><strong>In the past week, RCN markets have concerns about the political situation of Cote d&#39;Ivoire (pre-election in 2015) with information after a group of soldiers from protesters demanding higher wages.
