<p><strong>Viet Nam exported 257,000 tonnes of cashews worth US$1.68 billion in the first 10 months of the year, up 20.5 per cent in volume and 24.4 per cent in value against the same period last year, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural and Development. Despite export growth, the sector has had low export prices, and its cashew processing plants are not competitive.</strong></p>
