This is illustrated by the reform, which today presents "convincing results". In other words, thanks to the reform, the export of raw nuts has clearly improved, export contracts are registered and monitored, and so on.

From 350 000 tonnes in 2009, the production of nuts rose to 702 510 tonnes in 2015, representing an average annual growth rate of 13%. Representing also the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development (sponsor of the ceremony), he invited the representative of Prime Minister Amadou Gon Coulibaly to convey this message to the President of the Republic and to the head of government: Cashew is doing well ". So much so that his contribution to the national economy, he reveals, is more than 450 billion FCFA of income. Dr. Coulibaly Adama thanked President Alassane Ouattara and Minister Mamadou Sangafowa Coulibaly for the attention they give to the actors of the sector and the nut.

Souleymane Diarrassouba, Minister of Commerce, Handicrafts and Promotion of SMEs, representing the Prime Minister (boss of the event), congratulated the Aec-Ci and its President Diaby Aboubacar for the work carried out Last year, resulting in a production of more than 649,000 tons in 2016. And that makes Côte d'Ivoire the hub of nut marketing in the world. "We were part of a group of bankers who believed in the world of cashews," the minister said. Who said to join this symposium which is in line with the objectives of the National Development Program (Pnd 2016-2020) of the Ivorian economy.
