<p>With higher demand for organic products worldwide, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed during the 3-day International Buyer-Seller Meet for agricultural products in Chhattisgarh where cashew nut, Flax seeds (Alsi), Lentil (masoor), and coriander will be exported to Japan. </p><p>The exhibition was opened for public on Sunday, the concluding day. The meet has been organized at Hotel Sayaji, capital city, Raipur.</p> <p>Yogesh and Shyam Singh dealing with agro-products in Japan, had signed a MoU for procurement of 18 MT of cashew net, 10 MT of coriander, flax seed and 40 MT of lentil seeds. The MoU will directly benefit the farmers of Jashpur, Bastar, Raigarh and Khairagarh.</p> <p>Shyam Singh said through Sartaj Co Dot Limited, he procures food materials through online. Japanese also likes Indian cuisines.</p> There is higher demand of organic cashew nut and the exhibited products here are of good quality. As the production of cashew nut in Japan is less, the chances of imports from India are very high. Indians residing in Japan also prefer to use Indian foodgrains, including fruits and vegetables. The Indian restaurants also use Indian fruits and vegetables. <br><p></p>
