<p></p><p>The third National Days of Cashew Exporters from Ivory Coast, JNECCI 2020 opened its doors this Wednesday, February 12, 2020. This edition takes place simultaneously with the Sixth World Cashew Convention (WCC). It is a great first for the actors of the cashew sector. The World Cashew Convention (WCC) is being held for the first time on the African continent. Over 600 experts from Asia, 400 from Europe and the Americas as well as 500 participants from Africa, mainly from producer countries will work for three days on the theme: "What sustainable ecosystem for the global cashew sector?" ". For Aboubacar Diaby, general commissioner of this symposium, the choice of Côte d'Ivoire as the host country for the first edition of the famous WCC (world cashew convention) relocated to the African continent is an honor for our country. "It undoubtedly reflects the consecration of the leadership of Côte d'Ivoire and its increasingly growing influence on the international cashew market" declared ....</p> <p> The 2020 edition of JNECCI will allow the various players to discuss the challenges facing the global industry. These include issues related to ecological, environmental, structural and economic balance. In fact, for the past three years, the world price of cashew nuts has experienced brutal fluctuations, de facto weakening the players in producing countries. Aboubacar Diaby invited the players in the sector to join forces. "We sincerely call for a greater international partnership, emphasizing the exchange of experience, the transfer of skills and technology in a context which is admittedly globalized but fair and equitable", he declared.
