  • Vietnamese OEMs visit Abidjan for the transformation of the Cashew

    <p></p><p>A delegation of businessmen and Vietnamese manufacturers conduct a mission to Côte d'Ivoire from next Tuesday, APA learned Saturday from official sources in the Ivorian economic capital. <br></p> <p>According to a press release of the Cotton Board and Cashew, this visit which will last from April 12 to 16 are part of "supporting the transformation of cashew nuts in Ivory Coast." <br></p> <p>This mission will be furnished with "exchanges with industrial cashew and economic operators interested in the processing of cashew." A visit to the processing units is also on the menu. <br></p> <p>Côte d'Ivoire became in 2015 the largest producer of cashew nuts with 700 000 tonnes. Of this production, only 45 000 tonnes were processed locally, to believe in, the Director-General of the Council of cotton and cashew, Malamine Sanogo.<br></p><p></p>
