<p></p><p>The Cashew Export Promotion Council of India (CEPCI) organised an exporters’ meet in association with Indian Bank in Kollam to resolve various banking related issues faced by cashew exporters.</p> <p>T. K. Shahal Hassan Musaliar, Chairman, CEPCI, called upon the banking industry to sort out the issues faced by the cashew sector. C.V George, General Manager (Foreign Exchange Department), RBI, Kochi, said commercial banks should guide exporters in the procedural matters apart from rendering good customer service and providing adequate credit to increase export opportunities. </p><p>Rajeevan Pillai, General Manager, Indian Bank, Chennai, said his bank is closely associated with cashew industry and promised full support and cooperation in future. As many as 40 exporters from Kerala and Tamil Nadu attended the meeting.<br></p><p></p>
