Agriculture figured prominently in yesterday's talks between Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara and World Bank Vice President for Africa Makhtar Diop. A fruitful interview since the latter has announced a $ 200 million project to support the cashew sector and a $ 300 million project for the cocoa sector. Overall, it is an envelope of about $ 1 billion that should support the development efforts of the country during this fiscal year ending next June. These concessional loans will be allocated in the first half of 2018, said Makhtar Diop.
