  • The exports and imports between Vietnam and Australia in 2015

    <p></p><p>According to statistics of the General Department of Vietnam Customs, in 2015, two-way trade between Vietnam and Australia reached 4.93 billion, down 19% compared to 2014, while exports from Vietnam to Australia reached 2.91 billion US dollars, down 27.2%, imports of Vietnam from Australia reached $ 2.02 billion, down 1.6% over the same period. Vietnam trade surplus of about $ 900 million to Australia. <br></p> <p>The export turnover of Vietnam to Australia decreased mainly due to crude oil plummeted. Export turnover decreased to 69.4% of crude oil (down 1.3 billion dollars) and the first crude oil exports of Vietnam second only to Vietnam in exporting goods to Australia. In recent years, crude oil exports account for about half of the total export turnover of Vietnam to Australia, so the sharp fall in oil turnover will drag overall exports fell. Excluding crude oil, exports of non-oil products increased by 9.5% compared to 2014. <br></p> <p>On individual exporters, in 2015 Vietnam exported over Australian exports reached $ 116,576,370, an increase of 7.1% compared to 2014 (was $ 108,873,743).<br></p><p></p>
