When the crude oil price was around $40/barrel, price of a kilo cashew shell was hovering below Rs3.80/Goa-Mangalore ! But now cashew shell is trading above Rs5.00/kilo/Goa-Mangalore and crude oil is plummeting below $32/barrel. <br></p> <p>Usually, CNSL follows crude oil market as both crude oil and CNSL are non edible oils. <br></p> <p>Now this trend has reversed as CNSL is a different oil and has its own characteristics in different uses. If the shortage becomes severe in coming months, a new high is possible in August 2016.<br></p><p></p>
