Nov 18th, 2015

The Tanzanian cashew industry was recently allocated Sh30 billion ($13.9mln USD) for the construction of three factories to help to boost country's processing capacity of its second largest export crop.

The factories will be built in Mtwara, Mkuranga and Tunduru and are expected to save 80 per cent of Tanzania cashew nuts currently exported in raw form.
