<p></p><p>Stakeholders in the cashew business from Ghana and three other countries are meeting in Accra for two days to look for ways to expand the cashew business. While the Africa Cashew Alliance says government has not done enough to boost cashew production as done with cocoa, the Ministry of Food and Agriculture thinks otherwise. <br></p> <p>Deputy Director at the Ministry in charge of cashew production, Seth Siaw Akoto said cashew contributed thirty percent to GDP last year and there are indications that it will do better because production is expected to increase from forty thousand to fifty- five thousand tones by close of the year.<br></p><p></p>
