<p></p><p>Cashew Export Promotion Council of India known as CEPCI recently celebrated its Diamond Jubilee. In recent times, the council has emphasized on Value Added Exports. However the council needs to revise its strategy on Value Added Exports. Plain salted or roasted cashew nuts is not a big value addition. <br></p> <p>Food Industries are shifting to India. Many industries use cashew as an ingredient in food products. Therefore cashew export cannot be identified separately as cashew is a part of larger product. This is the real value added export. So it is important to classify and quantify cashew nuts used in these exports.<br></p><p></p>
