On Sunday morning, February 16, 2025, Minister of Commerce of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Ms. Cham Nimmol, presided over the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering business cooperation between Cambodia and Australia in promoting Cambodian products. The MoU is designed to increase the export market for Cambodian goods in Australia, with a particular emphasis on rice and cashew exports. The ceremony was attended by officials from the Australian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, as well as representatives from various Cambodian and Australian companies, including: 1. Amru Rice Cambodia Co. Ltd and Green Group Pty. Ltd 2. Khmer Foods Group Co. Ltd and Market Fresh Place Pty Ltd 3. Mirarth Agri Tech and Market Fresh Place Pty Ltd 4. Mirarth Agri Tech and Omara Import Export 5. Mirarth Agri Tech and Balha Sweets During the event, the Minister presented the largest Cambodian cashew nuts in the world to representatives of the Australian private sector, further promoting the potential for increased exports.
